2016 Partnership between Encompass Sports Therapy and Breakaway Racing Cycle Club

April 7, 2016

Encompass Sports Therapy is proud to announce our partnership with Breakaway Racing Cycle Club, trade named Peloton Racing powered by Exterra GeoScience, for the 2016 season.

Founded in 2014, Breakaway Racing Cycle Club is a Calgary-based, non-profit, competitive amateur cycling club with over 20 members. The team trains for and competes in local and regional road cycling, cyclocross, and multi-sport events, achieving high results including podium finishes at the 2015 Provincial Criterium and Provincial Time Trials. The club’s 2016 season will include 10 competitive and charitable events throughout the province, with the goals of top-5 placement in Provincial Team standings and at least 25 podium finishes.

In addition to training and racing, the Breakaway Racing Cycle Club is committed to contributing to the larger cycling community. During the 2015 season, the club successfully hosted a series of races as a part of the larger Wednesday Night Race Series; an accomplishment the club intends to build on in 2016. Further commitments to charitable events in 2016 include participation in the 24 Hours of Suffering (February 2016) event and the Tour for Kids event (July 2016).

The team at Encompass Sports Therapy is pleased to provide sponsorship to the Breakaway Racing Cycle Club and to be the official and exclusive sports therapy providers (Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, and Massage) for team members in Calgary. We thank Breakaway Racing Cycle Club for the opportunity to be part of their season and wish all team members the best of luck and best of health for 2016.
