As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, Lizzie is passionate about supporting adults, children, youth, and couples in overcoming their mental health and well-being challenges.

Her background with the Canadian Armed Forces gives Lizzie a unique perspective and a strong dedication to providing specialized care for veterans, first responders, and individuals dealing with complex trauma and PTSD.

For Lizzie, counselling is more than just a profession; it’s about building connections, fostering understanding, facilitating growth – and occasionally sharing a good laugh. Lizzie employs an eclectic and holistic approach, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy. This diverse toolkit allows her to tailor therapy to a client’s specific needs, ensuring highly personalized and effective treatment.

Her practice is characterized by a welcoming, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment, with a particular focus on supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Lizzie brings warmth and a sense of humour to my sessions, fostering an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding. Committed to social justice, Lizzie advocates for respect and support for all individuals.
