Jesse Bacala

Jesse is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. He holds a graduate degree from Adler University, completed a 1,600-hour supervised internship in Alberta, and brings more than a decade of clinical experience across multidisciplinary healthcare settings in both Canada and Australia.

His approach to therapy is practical, flexible, person-centred, and trauma-informed. Jesse emphasizes sessions that develop organically through natural conversation, emotional safety, and collaboration, with the client remaining in control of the process. He believes individuals are often more capable and resilient than they realize and works alongside clients to better understand their experiences from a strengths-based perspective and develop effective coping strategies.

Alongside his clinical work, Jesse has a longstanding involvement in competitive sport and fitness. His experience as a national-level strength athlete contributes to his interest in sport and performance psychology. Whether working with athletes, professionals, or individuals striving for personal growth, he believes psychology can be about more than symptom reduction—it can also serve as a proactive investment in performance, resilience, and having the support needed to pursue goals that matter to you.
