Christina Hong

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Calgary Psychologist ChristinaChristina is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

Her journey into psychology was sparked by a genuine love for connecting with people. Christina believes that counselling, at its core, is a heartfelt and collaborative connection—two individuals coming together to navigate this wonderfully bizarre life of ours.

In her role, it’s her mission to offer a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can safely and authentically explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Christina will help you work on nurturing a clearer sense of self and purpose, cultivating self-compassion, and build resilience as you navigate life’s many ups and downs. She aims to be both a compassionate witness and a steady support as you move through your journey of self-discovery.

Her approach is firmly grounded in cultural sensitivity, strength-based methodologies, and trauma-informed practices. Drawing from continuous education and training, Christina integrate a blend of therapeutic methods including Person-Centred Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, and mindfulness-based somatic strategies—each thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Christina is genuinely excited for the opportunity to connect with her patients as they move toward exploration, growth, and holistic well-being.
