Colin graduated from the University of Calgary’s Kinesiology Faculty with a Bachelors Degree in Science (Honours) in Exercise Physiology where he also earned his Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology Certified Personal Training certification. After graduation Colin became a Registered Kinesiologist with the Alberta Kinesiology Association and the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance. Colin has worked extensively with the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre as a Student researcher on injury prevention and performance projects in Hockey and Basketball.

He is an author on publications in the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine and Journal of Sports Sciences, as well as had his work presented to International Olympic Committee. While working as a researcher, his specialty has been prevention and rehabilitation of sport-related traumatic brain injury, as well as tracking overuse injuries using wearable technology. In his spare time, Colin is a Special Olympics coach, working with both the Calgary Powerlifiting and Cross Country Ski teams. He is an avid cyclist, and loves any other activity outdoors.
