Dr. Shaina Vetter was born and raised in Alberta and attended the University of Calgary where she received her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree.  She later received her Masters of Science in Sports Medicine as well as her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree with summa cum laude honours from the University of Western States (UWS) in Portland, Oregon.  Additionally, she received her Functional Integrated Acupuncture Certification from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario.

Dr. Vetter is excited to join Encompass Sports Therapy and bring her extensive sport knowledge to the patients of EST.  Growing up, she was a competitive gymnast for 12-years and went on to coach the sport for another decade.  Before attending school at UWS, she competed in three world cheerleading championships as well as two fitness competitions.  These personal experiences have lead to her passion in Chiropractic with helping patients achieve their optimal movement and performance.  Dr. Vetter utilizes manual adjusting, active release technique (ART), functional acupuncture, various soft-tissue therapy techniques as well as rehabilitative exercises to give her patients the best possible care.

Dr. Vetter is always doing some sort of exercise, whether cycling in a spin studio, taking a local barre class or strength training in the gym.  In her free time, Dr. Vetter enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband, daughter and Bernese mountain dog.
