Sarah Chambers

Sarah is a Calgary native who graduated with honours from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology in 2011. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2013. After graduating, Sarah spent nearly 10 years practising physiotherapy in Lethbridge, where she developed a strong interest in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management.

Sarah enjoys working with a wide range of clients aged 10 and older, with a particular interest in helping people experiencing dizziness, balance concerns, or concussion symptoms. She also enjoys working with runners, individuals with neck or shoulder injuries, and anyone looking to return to work, sport, recreation, or everyday activities following an injury or health concern. She finds it especially rewarding to help people regain the confidence and ability to participate in the activities and routines that are important to them.

Sarah takes an individualized and collaborative approach to rehabilitation. She believes that understanding what is happening with the body is an important part of the recovery process and works with each client to develop a treatment plan that fits their goals, needs, and lifestyle. Treatment may include education, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, and taping techniques. Her goal is to provide clients with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to take an active role in their recovery.

Sarah has completed training and certification in a variety of areas, including:

  • Rehabilitation: A Competency-Based Course through Emory University School of Medicine
  • Level 1 and Level 2 Concussion Management through Shannon McGuire
  • Complete Concussion Management through CCMI
  • AA1 and AA2 Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute

Outside of the clinic, Sarah enjoys reading, meditating, cooking, and working out. Most importantly, she loves spending quality time with her husband and son.
